Dr. Scott Hahn
Dr. Scott Hahn is the Fr. Michael Scanlan Professor of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is the Founder and President of the St. Paul Center, an apostolate dedicated to teaching Catholics to read Scripture from the heart of the Church.
Dr. Hahn has been married to Kimberly for forty one years. They have six kids and twenty grandkids and two of their sons are currently in priestly formation with the Diocese of Steubenville. The author and editor of over forty popular and academic books, Dr. Hahn’s works include best-selling titles Rome Sweet Home, The Lamb’s Supper, and Hail Holy Queen. Fr. Michael Schmitz
Fr. Mike Schmitz serves as Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth and as Chaplain for the Newman Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
He is well known for his popular YouTube videos, released weekly on the Ascension Presents YouTube channel, and he also streams Sunday Mass to a worldwide audience. In addition to hosting the first complete Catholic Bible in a Year podcast, he is also a presenter in Ascension’s Chosen, Altaration, and The 99 programs, as well as a contributing author to Pray, Decide, and Don’t Worry: Five Steps for Discerning God’s Will.

Father Chris Alar, MIC, is a priest with the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. Rob holds an MA in Theology from Holy Apostles College and Seminary with a concentration in moral theology. He has a passion for spreading the joy of the Catholic Faith through teaching.
Rob has published articles in a number of Catholic publications including The Homiletic and Pastoral Review, The New Oxford Review, the National Catholic Bioethics Center’s Ethics and Medics, and First Things’ On the Square. In addition to maintaining this blog, Two Wings to God, he also is a regular contributor to The Narthex, a blog sponsored by New Oxford Review.
April 21st: Lepanto – Battleplan for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart
Michael Hichborn, founder and president of the Lepanto Institute, is a well known public figure in the pro-life movement. Michael spent seven and a half years as American Life League’s Director of the Defend the Faith project. In this capacity, Michael has researched and produced an annual report on organizations receiving grant money from the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. This annual report, exposing dozens of grantees that are promoting abortion, birth control, homosexuality and Marxism, has led to a nation-wide review of the CCHD and a tightening of its guidelines. Michael has also conducted research on Catholic hospital systems that are involved in the performance of abortions and sterilizations; he wrote a detailed report on abortion and contraception-providing organizations receiving money from Catholic Relief Services; and produced a detailed report on Obamacare and its danger to women, preborn babies and the elderly.
In addition to his work as Director of Defend the Faith, Michael hosted the online video series, The American Life League Report. This popular video series features expose’s and explanations of the Culture of Death and its work in our country and in our Church. Prior to working at American Life League, Michael helped open two Catholic schools in Fredericksburg, VA.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Christendom College in Political Science and Economics and a Master’s degree in Education from American Intercontinental University.
In 2017, Michael became a member of the John Paul II Academy for Human Life and the Family.
Michael lives in Virginia with his wife, Alyssa, and their seven children.
